Agricultural Forum: Planning for the Future-with a Smile!
Discounted registration has been extended through December for the New York State Agricultural Society's 177th Annual Forum, co-sponsored by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. Join over 500 attendees, industry experts and fellow producers at the Holiday Inn, Syracuse/Liverpool on Thursday, January 8th, 2009 for an informative day focused on the future.
Sessions will address Intergenerational Transfer, Strategic Planning, and Risk Management, moderated by Ed Staehr of NY FarmNet / NY Farm Link, Suzanne Mayer of Lacy Katzen, LLP, and John Lehr of First Pioneer Farm Credit. All meals, breaks and reception feature New York produced food and beverages. Following the evening banquet New York State Agriculture Commissioner, Patrick Hooker, will present the State of the State's Agriculture address as well as a special tribute in memory of Bernie Potter.
