Nov 13 2008 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
This year's annual meeting of the Soil and Water Conservation Society - Empire Chapter will focus on climate change, carbon, and agriculture, with specific focus on New York State. We often read about such topics on a national and global scale, but thanks to researchers and practitioners in our own backyard, we'll have the opportunity to gather a local perspective.
Please join us at the Holiday Inn, Waterloo, New York on November 13, 2008, for both the business meeting and day-long program (see agenda and registration, below).
Walk-in registrations are welcome, so it's not to late to join!
With the Farm Bill, the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, research, and private business initiatives in motion, you won't want to miss this local perspective on climate, conservation, and agriculture.
