Josh Hornesky a Central New York native was born and raised in Whitesboro, NY. He graduated from Whitesboro High School in 2001. From there he went on to SUNY Morrisville where he earned an Associates Degree in Natural Resources Conservation and won an NJCAA Men's Ice Hockey National Championship. After Morrisville, Josh moved onto SUNY ESF where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Policy and Management.
While in college Josh was a summer intern with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) for two consecutive summers. When he wasn't doing school work he spent a lot of time as an NRCS earth team volunteer. Today Josh is a Soil Conservationist in the Ithaca, NY field office servicing Schuyler and Tompkins Counties.
When he is not working he enjoys going home and spending time with his family and friends. Josh also has a passion for hunting, fishing, and attending Dave Matthews Band concerts.
